Educational Game-experience

This is an educational game-experience created entirely by me meanwhile learning Unreal Engine on my own, from the idea, modeling, texturing, lighting and coding.
I wanted to offer a inmersive experience for kids so they willl see and travel like a bug along the soil layers, learning some key words and characteristics about them.
From the begining the player feels small due to the scale of the elements around. When played with a VR headset or cardboard the feeling is shocking.
First the player visits the layers of soil from top to bottom and finally plays a platform game going from bottom to the top.
The textures of the environments show the different characterictics of the various types of soil, from the more dark mud look to the lighter rocky look at the end.
The idea behind the game is to offer students a more hands on expericence when learning this content and also living on a bug´s shoes so they could be more sensitive with nature.
Quill village taken into Unreal

I painted this part of my father village made of stone houses in Quill and then took it to Unreal using the color vertex info.
